Silver Zinc Guard Protect is a zinc coating containing metallic zinc, which protects and cleans steel in the same manner as hot dip galvanising does, i.e., by cathodic reaction. Silver Zinc Guard Protect provides exceptional long-term protection against rust and corrosion and weathers to the same colour as normal galvanising. Silver Zinc Guard Protect is ideal for touch ups and to hide welded joints on metal structures and is suitable on all types of ferrous (mild and heavy gauge steel) substrates.
Silver Zinc Guard Protect can be used in many applications such as fabrication, construction, over welding, bridges, fencing, structural, steel, hot dip deep repairs, boat and marine equipment, electrical installation equipment, air conditioning, heating systems, tanks, pipes, underground equipment, wrought iron, handrails, balustrading, and signposts.
COVERAGE
Approximately 1.2m² per can. Coverage is also dependant spraying technique.
DURABILITY
When applied at 35 microns dry film thickness, Silver Zinc Guard Protect will provide a minimum of 4 to 5 years of service on exterior exposure. Higher film thickness will prolong longevity. Recoating at intervals will serve to repair damaged areas and prolong the coating’s life.
